It coats the shoe’s mixed-material upper as well as its laces and midsole. Contrasting hits of black bring tonal variety to the Swoosh and medial-side quarter panel, which is printed with Virgil’s trademark text.

The Off-White x Air Max 97 ‘Menta’ features a translucent textile upper finished in Wolf Grey, complemented by Virgil Abloh’s signature text and tonal zigzag stitching throughout. The neutral color scheme is disrupted by a multicolored Swoosh that transitions from green to blue to red, while underfoot, a smoky grey rubber outsole maintains the shoe’s translucent theme.

The Off-White x Air Max 90 ‘Desert Ore’ represents yet another of Virgil Abloh’s fanciful takes on the retro silhouette. Unlike its stark black and white counterparts, this pair features a mixed-material upper dressed in a warm tan shade. A stitched-on in Swoosh in Bright Mango is joined by the usual Virgil flourishes, including a blue zip tie and lines of printed text on the medial side.
