Hospital Nasir Guatemala Breaks Ground on New Diagnostic Center

Hospital Nasir breaks ground on a new Diagnostic Center
A new chapter in comprehensive, technology-enabled care begins in Guatemala.
A new healthcare space is taking shape at Hospital Nasir—one more step toward bringing world-class, compassionate care closer to the communities it serves.
The first stone marks the start of something bigger
On Thursday, October 29, invited guests gathered for a ceremony at Hospital Nasir to lay the foundation stone for its future Diagnostic Center. The project will expand the hospital’s comprehensive services with specialized medical spaces for examinations, diagnostic testing, analyses, and laboratory work—helping identify a wide range of health conditions.
As the center grows its services and technology, the goal remains clear: to make reliable, high-quality care more accessible to the people who need it.

What “Nasir” means
In Arabic, Nasir means “one who helps” or “one who defends.”
The name is a daily reminder of the hospital’s purpose: to stand up for the health and wellbeing of its community. Hospital Nasir is more than a medical facility—it is a committed advocate for compassionate care.
